My freshman dorm was Sylvester. I liked the Freshman Quad. I wish I could have lived there my sophmore year too.
I hate the way the campus is closed now. I don't think the campus is better for it. It stinks.

Fri, November 7, 2003 - 4:05 PMI was at Hopkins back when the crust of the earth was still cooling: 1968-1972. When I started, it was all-male, if you can believe that. I lived in Hollander as a freshman, played football for two years and then discovered the News-Letter; journalism has remained a lifetime career.
About the "closed campus" -- I guess I don't know about that. I haven't visited since about 1995 or something.
